"I often dreamt of your linden,
homesickness was always my mood!
Friendly salutes your church steeple..."
These lines were written by Mr Hans Friedrich, son of a former Radegast doctor, who dedicated this little poem to his hometown in Anhalt. Although the author died a long time ago and the Duchy of Anhalt belongs to the past as well as the Radegast municipal rights, things have changed only very little in the small town in the Fuhne meadows.
